Cooper Liedtke is an American artist from Kent, Ohio. Growing up in a mushy place like America, Cooper’s work has to do primarily with using love and an auspicious attitude to create new worlds, chances, and realities. He believes that there is an opportunity and responsibility that comes along with art-making to be able to provide gifts for others. He wants to make physically accessible work and the work is meant to be shared; that desire to give back is a driving force of the work. This desire is one of the reasons he is also drawn to film, theatre and writing.
Cooper received his BFA in Painting from Rhode Island School of Design in 2026, with a concentration in Literary Arts and Studies. In the summer of 2025 Cooper attended Mount Gretna School of Art as part of the 7-Week Studio Summer Intensive program.
